Hello and Welcome to the Reading Specialist Page!

The, recent, picture above of Mrs. Laubach, Reading Specialist, and Mrs. Wright, Paraeducator, introduces the teachers that support reading and writing instruction at Meadowvale Elementary School. These two teachers work together, as a team, for the benefit of promoting literacy at Meadowvale Elementary School to which they have done for the past 20 + years.  They pride themselves on delivering research-based reading and writing instruction to students, and they truly love what they do!  Best practices for reading and writing instruction are delivered to groups and individual students both in and out of assigned classrooms and designed to meet the needs of students.  The teachers know and understand the impact of delivering valuable experiences in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking to promote Literacy to the Meadowvale school community.  A link is provided below that offers a list of some Harford County School approved online resources promoting literacy across all content areas.
